The Pace Edwards Switchblade Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover part # 311-SWCA27A58 is safe to take in the car wash but please keep in mind a touch less is the way to go and Pace Edwards does not recommend waxing the cover so that step should be skipped. With the high pressures of a car wash I suspect there would be water penetration that isn't typical of the cover during normal rain events.
